Bookmarks bar

Decided to give Opera a blast again after many years. Looks nice, clean and very functional. Pleasing performance after Chrome seems to be getting over bloated, clunky and hangs too often now.
I imported my bookmarks and cant add them to a tool bar? Now, as a browser, I expect to get to my bookmarks right away.
But this doesn't seem possible. I dug around and see a few others with the same frustrations. I am an absolute hater of this current "Metro" trend.. it's a huge leap backwards in my opinion, so putting huge tiles on my browser page looks awful. (8 choices = ridiculous) OK.. I found how to list my bookmarks, but going to Speed dial, then Bookmarks, then Bookmarks bar, then clicking "Imported Bookmarks" is pointlessly time consuming and defeats the object.Any way to add a favorites/bookmarks bar? And if not, is one planned soon?
Otherwise, I'm done here.. and that would be a shame.
Cheers. -

Go to Settings or Alt P. And under User Interface, put a check in Show the Bookmarks Bar. You will then have a horizontal display of bookmarks across the top of your browser.
If you want more, you could get a bookmarks manager extension, like Chrookmarks for Chrome, where you click on the icon for the extension, and you get a vertical display of your bookmarks, that's quite different from the type of bookmarks display you complain about. To use a Chrome extension, you need an Opera Extension, like Download Chrome Extension, or Extension Source Viewer.
I hope this helps. With a new browser, there are very basic things one just isn't familiar with, so don't give up instantly. Best of luck!

Thank you so much. That was simple.
I had searched for that but didn't see it.. I feel kinda stupid now.
That's exactly what I wanted.
Thanks again
