Using Opera Mail As The Right Click Client In Opera 26

Hi, I installed Opera Mail, works a ok. I am also using a Chrome extension called "Share Link by Email" in which I have a right click option that brings up my mailto client, Live Mail. Whjat I would prefer is for the right click to bring up Opera Mail instead, but do NOT want to assign the Windows default Mailto to Opera Mail, I JUSt want to use Opera Mail from within Opera 26. is there a way to do this? Thanks

I don't think so. Share Link by Email just builds a mailto URI and loads it in a chrome tab (temporarily) to launch whatever client is currently handling the mailto protocol.
If you can edit the extension to launch an external command (not sure if there's a chrome api for that and if there is, not sure if Opera supports it yet), then you can tell the extension to pass the mailto URI it creates to the operamail.exe.
Short of that, I think you're out of luck if you don't want to set Opera Mail as the default client.
