      Hi,

In Europe google removed the possibility to click on the maps icon, and removed the maps button.

Which means that you cannot click on the map to open google maps. This all is a big f*ck you to the user.

Extensions have been made to combat this idiotic change. They work with Chrome but not with Opera. What could be the reason for this?

Hi, I'm the creator of Google Maps QuickClick - Search to Maps. To get the extension working in Opera, just navigate to Extensions, find the extension, and make sure "Allow access to search page results" is checked. Hope that helps!

@enkne unfortunately, each time we quit and reopen opera, maps is gone. I have to deselect "Allow access to search page results" and select it again to get maps back

Yeah it resets if you quit Opera. Seems to be the same for similar extensions. Anyone know why or anyone found a workaround?
