Which specific way of opening a new tab are you referring to?
When you clicking the + button on the tab bar (or hitting ctrl + t) or when you're left-clicking a link on a page or when you're middle-clicking on a link on a page or when you're right-clicking a link and choose "open link in new tab" or when you're clicking from the bookmarks side bar etc? -

Thank you.
