Regular Opera (Opera One) or Opera GX?

What specific version does it say at the URL opera://about?

Same issue if the "Out-of-process SW H.264 decoding" flag at the URL opera://flags/#platform-h264-decoder-in-gpu is disabled?

If so, same issue if hardware acceleration is disabled at the URL opera://settings/system?

@am1r54ha said in opera freezing and crash when play video:

                  both are enable !

Any difference if you disable the first one? If not, any difference if you disable the 2nd one?

@am1r54ha If that's the case, you can turn it back on and then adjust the Angle flag for your GPU to see if you can avoid crashes that way instead so that you have better performance than with hardware acceleration completely off. Up to you though.

@boudjenaneadlane Sorry, I meant to turn hardware acceleration back on at the URL opera://settings/system to trigger the problem again. Then, once you do, adjust the Angle flag for your GPU to see if you can find a setting for the flag that avoids the crashes and freezes while keeping most things hardware-accelerated at the URL opera://gpu.
