Opera One(version: 108.0.5067.20) / Win11 64bit
When I open a new tab and this tab is large enough, when I go to mouse over this new tab, for the first time I don't see the Close Tab icon, and if I go out of this tab and go back over the tab, the Close Tab Icon become visible.
Can you check this? -

I have Opera 109.0.5097.38. The Close Tab Icon is not visible all time, especially when I hover over the tab when the site is in loading state, can you verify, please?

I have updated the browser with version 110.0.5130.23 (On Win11 64 bit).
The issue is still present. Did you reproduce this issue? Can you solve it, because is pretty annoying. -

So, I found out the scenario when the Close tab icon is not visible:
When you enter over the tab from the red arrow direction. Please try and see. My current version is: 110.0.5130.23

Already not funny. Version: 110.0.5130.64. Issues still there (don't know already how much updates, but few month+). Earlier they already tried to fix similar issue (DNA-113080), but it happens again (or it new bug).
Three computers, same version. Two of them (win 10) - Cross icon not appears time to time on any tab (reproduce it just if move cursor up-down on any tab). Tried and remove extensions, and clean install, and create new profiles - nothing changed. Even in virtual machines it happened on new OS and new installation. Now on brand new laptop with Win11 it has a bit another issue - cross icon shows normally, but it can't close the tab - need move cursor up-down few times (or close by Ctrl+W or scroll button).
Opera team, seriously. Are you hear your users and going to fix that? For now on working laptop even switched to use Firefox instead, because unreally use browser with this issue.

@dyaroshenko
I agree with you @dyaroshenko, instead of adding new features on tabs, they should fix basic things on it. -

If you use the browser on a less resource machine (on a slow machine), this bug, to not have Close Tab Icon always visible can be reproduced easily.
