How to remove search bar in start page?

When you open a new tab there are a bunch of useful widgets that are three by default, I want to turn them off because of how infrequently I use them, unfortunately, I can't find any setting to turn off the search bar or the "+" tile to add a link to a site. Combing through the settings and searching the internet gave me nothing useful so I thought I would ask here. Thank you in advance for any response.
