[Duplicated] Invalid code message when using a backup code for 2FA

Recently I changed my phone, so I lost access to the microsoft authenticator app (that opera is linked to). I was trying to turn it off (then I'll link it again) but it keeps saying invalid codes when I try to use a back-up code

Somehow I was able to generate new back-up codes before doing this whole process. I should just wait? or do something else?
