Opera GX redirecting when on financial websites

I have noticed that when I log into paypal and my banking institute and try to change the page, for example in paypal I would click wallet and instead of being provided my wallet, a website called https://redirect.joingekko.com/monetize?queryid=mkyni6rj2sfdnytn75cufcr77i&b=paypal briefly pops up and then redirects back to paypal.
I've attempted to recreate this with Chrome and Firefox however this does not occur. After using an antivirus and malware scan I am unable to find anything on my PC which is causing this to happen.
I have removed all my extensions and restored GX to its factory settings however it still occurs, is this expected behavour in GX?

@zeemah I would start by disabling all extensions.

@zeemah Maybe I'm trying to say that you should do it again?

Anyway, redirects are usually done by pages. You can go to site settings and block redirects for PayPal and your bank to see what happens.
