Add new password for local server manually

How do I add a password for a local server? Like 'https://server01/login'!
I always get 'Did you mean https://server01/login.com'. No, I didn't.
What should the link look like? -

It needs to be
https://server01.something/login
for it to be accepted. Or, it can behttps://ipaddress/login
. Don't know if you can do something likehttps://server01.local/login
or not. Try setting up a form on the server in question with a username and password field. Then, try submitting a username and password and see if Opera asks to save it. If so, look in the password manager to see how the URL is formatted exactly. -

I have selected 'Never save password' and would like to change it now.

I cannot connect to ESX with IP address and also not with .something. However, the password manager accepts your suggestions.

@dasinzi You can try things in a test standalone installation with the default settings to see if Opera will ask to save the password in that case.

It is our oldest ESX and the last one outside the domain. So I continue with the password entry.
