[19.0.1326.56] Toggle Bookmarks on and off?

so i installed the new opera 19. looks like my bookmarks, but it's in this ugly bar horizontally on the top of my browser taking up real estate. i have two questions.

1) is there a way i can quickly toggle the the bookmarks bar on/off...i.e. show/hide?

2) is there a way i can view the the bookmarks/folders vertically instead of horizontally?

1. With the bookmark extension you can turn off the toolbar.
