disable theme on speed dial

I got this prompt to use some October or Halloween theme on my speed dial. Now it will not go away. I have searched settings, I tried to change the background and tried to search the web for answers. I cannot get this theme to go away. It messed up my speeddial settings and now speed dial is unusable. Please help! I may just have to uninstall and clear out settings, but since I sync my settings, in all likely cases, I will get those same settings installed once I setup opera again. So please help me understand why I am forced into this ridiculous theme and cannot remove the settings..

You should be able to click the little speed dial button at the top middle of the start page and choose "Take me back to my Start Page".
If you won't want to see the cauldron icon on the start page at all, goto the URL
opera://flags/#startpage-halloween-special, disable the flag and restart Opera. -
