2FA invalid code error

When I try to log in to my Opera account, I get the error message "Invalid code" with 2FA. I am trying to log in with a code generated from the same Google Authenticator app on the same phone a few days ago. There is no way it could be a mistake.
Any good ideas to resolve this situation?

I'm having the same problem with my main account…
Also tried using a backup code — but even if the code should be valid, still can't log in (token error). And thereafter, the code gets invalid (maybe because correctly used)…

I have no idea why, but I tried today and was able to log in.
