Opera sync passcode reset not working

So, Opera says it has the option to reset our passcodes if we don't remember them, but it's not allowing me to do it (it says I have no bookmarks when I know I synced everything the last time).
It has all of my business related bookmarks on there, as well as my passwords and everything, and my old pc went down so I'm extremely distressed about not being able to get it back. Any advice on how to fix this?

@sunsetmartini By passcode you mean passphrase?
To change it you need to go to www.sync.opera.com and click on the reset passphrase link. That will reset (delete) your synced data and allow you to go to sync setup in settings page and change or remove the passphrase.What part is not working?

@leocg Resetting it in general, I went to reset it the first time, but it told me I had nothing synced when I had things synced on my old pc
I would have reset it on that pc, but the CPU is out of commission so I can't do that

@sunsetmartini So when you go to sync.opera.com you don't see any synced data?
If so, then you should be able to change your passphrase or stop using it in the settings page of Opera.Your passphrase is stored locally only and that's why you need to change it in Opera's settings page.
