@jeffq Hello, brother, I have the same problem as you. It's useless to try many methods. Can any friends give me some advice on how to solve the next problem? I didn't get a reply to my official Twitter message at opera gx. I saw that twitch anchors can log in to the twitch account with opera gx normally. I believe there should be a solution. I hope a friend can help me.

In the same problem, I saw that there is an anchor who can log in, and there should be a way to solve it.

Try this:
– Go to twitch.tv site
– Click on lock icon
– Go to cookies
– Delete all twitch cookies
– Refresh site.
– Do Not Go to twitch extension, just refresh twitch.tv site
– Accept cookies
– login on twitch.tv - it will pass
– go to extension and login too - it will pass -

@leocg I formatted my PC, so that was a fresh installed Opera GX. Do you insist me to clean cookies?

@jeffq Then try disabling browser.js in opera://browserjs/ to access Twitch.

Thank you. it worked. However, it says "..... for current session." How long is the current session? If I enable it again, will it affect Twitch.tv login?

@jeffq Until you close Opera. And since it affects other pages, I suggest to disable it just to login on Twitch.

@leocg I closed Opera. Logged out to see if I need to do the trick again, it turns out I don't. It fixed the problem completely. Just letting you know. Thank you again.

@leocg Hello, I followed the steps of the method and still did not solve the problem: "Your browser is not currently supported, please use the recommended browser". Will it be a regional problem or other reasons? ? I am in China, because there is also a Chinese version, I wonder if it is caused by regional reasons? @imfkoo Go to opera://browserjs and disable browser.js. Login to Twitch and, if everything works, enable browser.js again.

Is anybody else having any issues regarding the Twitch sidebar widget and the website not allowing them to log in? I keep getting an "unsupported browser" error even though the website works perfectly fine.. It doesn't make any sense. I just started using this browser for the first time but I still tried clearing cache/cookies and all that, disabled early bird, disabled hardware acceleration, disabled everything I could and I still have the problem. I used Twitch all the time so this is actually a deal breaker for me.
I tried logging in on the normal Opera browser and it works perfectly fine, however I don't like the original Opera. I like having Discord and other apps within reach like GX does, so I really don't want to use Opera.
Has anybody had any luck with their fixes? Is this a issue for other people as well right now? I just want to watch Twitch and not have to use a second browser to do so...
