How do I get back to the old Opera? The new one has deleted my Password Manager, bookmarks, and speed dial.

@tenorlove Here you can find older versions: https://get.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/
Be sure to delete/rename the autoupdate file in the opera folder and launch opera installer with the " --launchopera=0" parameter. -

@ssniperwolf-1233 Agreed...I cannot stand OperaOne. The startup sound is annoying and there is no way to stop it. The AI is also very bothersome.

Agree with you on the Opera One update. I have tried everything to stop the update, deleted the updater, created a shortcut with the --disable-update. Nothing seems to work permanently, after a week or so Opera sneaks in an update which then creates new launcher and my shortcut is missing the --disable-update switch. Opera was a great light weight browser that provided a great web experience. I've used it for years without many major issues or bugs.
Now It looks like they are driven by revenue or investors, but not the customers / users.
It really irritates me they not only force me to accept Opera One , but then even when I use the method they provide me with to disable the updates / upgrade, they bypass that too! I'll have to find another browser to replace Opera.
I really liked the quick book marks , but they broke that from 99.0.4788.9 to One 100.0.4815.20 all of my quick links were half populated and a generic icon was in place of the original as in version 99. The work around is launch the old version , export all your shortcuts and book marks , then import into the new One. Not ,, lol I ended up with duplicates of the mess I started with. So I cleared all my shortcuts and bookmarks . Then one by one manually returned to the site bookmarked it. Then I ran across the bug that it doesn't populate the "icon" for that website like it was in version 99.

@bobyell It goes to show that the devs have never been to Ireland.
The Irish have it right,, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"I have been trying everything I know to retreive me speed dials, no joy. I love the speed dial function!!
Well, ,it looks like I move on. Vivaldi is looking like a viable option. I like having different and discreet work spaces.
