Can anyone tell me where to go to enable recently visited sites drop down triangle in the address bar? I have been searching all over for it. I HAD it enabled and formatted my pc today. I had a link to click on to make it show up and the link is no good anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Opera version ?.
If you are using the new Blink version of Opera (15 and newer), Then it's not available.
If you are using the classic Presto version of Opera (12 and older), then you have to enable it via 'opera:config#UserPrefs|ShowDropdownButtonInAddressfield'.

I AM using an older Version 11.61 as I didn't care for the newer version. I don't have showdropdownbuttoninaddressfield anywhere in there. I have damn-near xrayed the program looking for it and searching for it. It's nowhere in Preferences that I could find. Could you tell me which tab in prefs to find it? I imagine in advanced but I could be wrong. I've looked until I'm blue in the face and still haven't found it. Thank you for your help.

It is there, I've just downloaded and ran 11.61 and looked.
Copy and paste the line below into the address bar of Opera 11.61 and press enter/return.
opera:config#UserPrefs|ShowDropdownButtonInAddressfield
The 'Highlighted' (Blue in my case) option will be the option you need to tick (enable) and then scroll down towards the bottom and click the 'Save' button.
Have a look to the far right in the address bar, and you should see a little black inverted triangle, that is your address bar drop down arrow.
