This is a tentative guide for those that wish to post a suggestion and/or request. Please check the following steps before posting.
Warning: This forum is for people to politely ask for features, changes, etc. No demands are allowed and anyone doing it may be subject to a ban.
- See if the same suggestion/request hasn't been made before. Having lots of topics about the same thing just causes confusion;
- Don't just post to say "Please add this" or "I want Opera to have that" just because you prefer it that way. Try to explain briefly why you need it and why you think it would be useful for other users;
- If you have a use case that shows how the feature/change you are requesting would be useful, please post it as it will be useful to help developers evaluating the request;
You should note that developers do evaluate lots of things, scenarios and so on before adding or changing anything, so there is always a high chance that a request may not be implemented, although all of them are evaluated.
