How do I stop Opera One from searching from the address bar ??

I absolutely hate this, I've always had it turned off in previous versions but can't find how to do it now !

@djweeble There wasn't and there isn't a setting to disable it.

@leocg so why has it never done this before ?

I have regularly over the last 10 or more years copied and pasted or typed URL's into the address bar and just hit enter..... it has only ever taken me direct to the page or if it no longer exists it gave me an "unable to find the URL" type page...... it has never before taken me to a page of search results, it now does this even if the URL is a good one.

@djweeble Maybe an extension?

It's been years that address bar works also as search bar in Opera and in practically all browsers.

@djweeble You still can do that. Make sure that the address is correct.
