@mollycockles Thank you
So far I don't see any added value in Opera One and the UI design flaws worsen the experience.E.g. they sacrificed the screen margin hotzones in favor of questionable "beautification"

@inoti said in 100+ tabs look extremely bad after latest update:
use #scrollable-tab-strip in opera:flags
How/where to use this?
Even i am annoyed by the jumbled tabs and opening methods.. -

@meprathamk As said, you go to opera://flags and enable the flag #scrollable-tab-strip

@leocg It worked but still i am in the middle of somewhere.
I couldn't find my latest tab, also opening 2 or more tab became difficult.
Now recent tab is mixed somewhere, I need that scrolling again but old method?
Any help, anyone... -

@meprathamk As said, tab scrolling is being reimplemented, so it's still a work in progress.

@leocg luckily Ctrl + TAB and Ctrl + Space helped me a lot to browse and use, else i would've lost all my tabs..
I just hope Developers concentrate on my kind of issues as I open a few pages but get more than 3 pop-up's opening in the background and I keep on and closing them searching one by one manually.
Anyway, all the previous tabs compressed and latest opened tabs maximized is what I expect. -

@inoti Thanks! I was about to just unistall Opera due to this update. The Tabs were too small and easy to close by accident. Doesn't help well when you are doing research papers and need to access information from another tab that is the size of an ant. The scrolling helped abit.

I too lost over 100 tabs I'd been using for online research when Opera 'upgraded' to Opera One, at one point they were all there, and I sorted them into the Tab Islands, then they were gone.
Also I appeared to, at least on the day of the 'upgrade,' have more than one version of Opera open, not sure how, but sometimes 'One' would appear, with all the tabs, other times another version of Opera would appear without any tabs.
For the moment, I've stopped using Opera and reinstalled Firefox, something I've not used since 2017.
I've no idea how I can get my missing tabs back, and as they weren't the most recent in my search history, it would probably be quicker to start afresh.

had been with Op almost 10 yrs. Errors & shits they play on you, i lost all my stuffs because of them. Opera sucks & sucks over the years, They thot they improved by adding Ai. with some new features. We don't want those shits. I just want to used it like any other normal browser. But every Updates scare the hell out of me. Don't use Opera period !!!

Sadly this new update also undoes everything done previously to fix the 100+ tab issue. I wonder if it is going to be a norm that after every update you will have to go back and close tabs that were closed before the update. I am again going through all these tabs closing the ones I closed 2 days or 1 week ago as they were no longer needed.
