Discord Voice Activity Not Working

Hi guys, so I have tried a few methods like resetting perms and re-allowing the perms on the discord sidebar settings alrdy. Though my mic can pick up the sound from the test mic settings in the discord on Opera GX, somehow it does not register the voice input when I try to talk to my friends. Anyone has a suggestion for me to take a shot at to see if it fixes this?
