Opera won't import bookmarks!

I've been an Edge user for years. Recently it started asking for my MS account login info every time I try to use it. No One can explain why. So I switched to Chrome. After a few days it gets wonky and won't run pages properly. So I decided to give Opera a try.
When installing, I told it to import my Edge bookmarks, passwords, etc. It didn't, so I tried importing the bookmarks again.
Nothing!
Apparently Opera is just another buggy pile of crap browser. I don't need one - I already have Chrome and Edge. So I'll be uninstalling it immediately.
Aren't there any developers out there who can produce software that works properly??

In Edge, you can goto the URL
edge://favorites
, click the 3 dots at the top right of the page and export your favorites as an HTML file. Then, in Opera, you can goto the URL
opera://settings/importData
, select "Bookmarks HTML file" in the drop-down and point it to the HTML file. Then, goto the URL
opera://bookmarks
in Opera and move the imported bookmarks to where you want if needed. -

A different way you can try if you want:
In Edge, goto the URL
edge://version
, take note of the "profile" path and Close Edge.In Opera, goto te URL
opera://about
, take note of the "profile" path and Close Opera. In Opera's profile folder, delete the "Bookmarks", "BookmarksExtras" and Bookmarks.bak (if present).
Then, copy the "Bookmarks" file from Edge's profile folder to Opera's. Then, when you start Opera, goto the URL
opera://bookmark
and move any imported bookmarks that are not where you want them to where you want them.Since this method replaces Opera's bookmarks file, you'll lose any existing bookmarks and speed dials.
