Sync overwritten my saved passwords with old ones

So Opera has overwritten all my new passwords on my desktop pc from over 120 websites with the old ones when I tried to sync with my laptop. Dont tell me I have to create and save new ones for all those websites.
also, every time I start Opera I have to log in to my account again to synchronize my data.
