Opera GX password manager and cookies on Macbook are not saved

Hello everyone, I use Opera GX on my Macbook and I have a big problem with this browser. The password manager does not work. It does not ask me when I log in if I want to save data and also data that I enter manually does not appear there at all. Also it seems that cookies from websites are not saved. Whenever I close the browser and restart it, I have to log in to every website again and the login data is of course not saved. Is the problem known or is there a solution for it? otherwise I am forced to change the browser because it is no fun.

@leocg Unfortunately, this post does not help me. There is no profile folder in said location. I do not know where to find it

@leocg Yes I have overlooked that the folder is hidden. I have performed the steps. It seems to have worked. I'll see if it later after a restart of the Mac also everything remains logged.
