I haven't used this browser on my Android for a few years now, I'm thinking 5-6 years. Chrome is my goto but it's so vanilla when it comes to features and Firefox is soulless. The past few days I've been trying other browsers again, namely other Chrome-based browsers
Yandex is a rather decent browser but it's rather annoying when you still end up dealing with constantly translating Russian when all web and browser options are selected to be English. It's biggest win is extension support. Even desktop extensions will install with a hit or miss if it will work in a mobile environment.

But, the Russian language support pages slow ya down and it's frustrating.
Opera then came in my radar again. My biggest issue is a cluttered UI (maybe it's just a lack of familiarity) and it's Push Notifications for dumb stuff. But, much like Yandex Browser, extension support was kept from the original Chrome source build. Well, I thought that was the case.

To end this monolog I'll get to the point. Extensions are the seasoning that makes use more enjoyable. Using webpages and finding tools to do a task, let's say making a PDF of a DIY guide from a blog or forum on fixing a vehicle axle issue, becomes a chore when I wasn't before. I spend more time at work and most free time I'm doing the tasks I've planned. Lately I gotta spend free time compiling information on a PC when a few years ago I could spend down time during my work week getting whatever task information I needed and organized.

Anything Chrome based for a mobile browser is now generic. What happened? The Edge browser has decent features compared to the rest of the flock, but Microsoft is the devil. Software design in the long term scheme was supposed to be about ease of use and building features to make your program stand out. Apparently in the mobile browser realm that has stopped and done so quietly. It's a bummer.

We all lose when there is no innovation.
