Forgetting Opera Account Password Leads to Synced Passwords To Be Lost

So by doing something so common as forgetting my opera password and having it reset I've effectively completely deleted my entire saved password list all because of a need to reset my computer? I'd rather have had them stolen to be honest.
I have my phone synced to my opera account from my old computer but obviously the password manager is only available on my (now reset) computer...
What a pointless system, is there any way of finding out the old password after resetting it? It doesn't make much sense to me to completely annihilate my saved passwords for relying on the feature itself.

@operahasdeletedallmypasswords Your synced saved passwords are encrypted using your Opera account credentials and, as you probably have already figured out, to decrypt it you need to provide the password used when the data was encrypted, that is usually the previous password.
So, if you can't remember that password then there is no way for Opera to decrypt your synced saved passwords and allow you to use them. -
