@d3m1tha Link to extension in Chrome web store so it's clear exactly what extension you're referring to?

@d3m1tha You can hide Speed Dials in settings page.

@d3m1tha If you are talking about changing what page is loaded when you click on the new tab button (or use one of the shortcuts), Opera doesn't allow changing it but there are some workarounds to achieve it.

@d3m1tha You can try doing what's in https://forums.opera.com/post/308385, adapting it to extension you want to use.

Or you can setup any keyboard shortcut to your extension, such as Ctrl+T.

@d3m1tha What does the Speed Dial 2 extension do that Opera Speed Dials do not?

@vegelund I like that speed dial, it simple and easy to use, anyways, opera seems like a locked down system, i don't like that, going back to Brave browser or Vivaldi.

@d3m1tha That was not a very good explanation on what the Speed Dial 2 extension does – that Opera Speed Dials do not.

@vegelund As i said, its simple to use, i can log in in to a different browser and have all of my bookmarks there, while in opera its only for that. like i said, opera seems like a locked-up browser, don't let us change this simple thing sucks. its backwards thinking. hope you guys fix this in future.

@d3m1tha Ok. Using the directions from https://forums.opera.com/post/308385, the custom URL you use in the New Tab Start Page extension to load the Speed Dial 2 page is chrome-extension://jpfpebmajhhopeonhlcgidhclcccjcik/override.html.
