hide/show button for speed dial

In settings it is possible to hide speed dial. But hiding it and showing it requires you to open up the settings. What I would like to see is maybe a small triangle as button to show/hide speed dial underneath the search bar.
This way you can look at your wallpaper fully and when you need speed dial you don't have to open the settings but instead you just click a hide/show button.
