I am surprised that in the setup for Opera One there is no method to import Bookmarks from the Opera GX browser.

@rjohnson11 Maybe because you can use Sync to get them?

Anyway, you can export the bookmarks in Opera GX and import them in Opera One.

@leocg Well, the same goes for a regular Opera desktop. I don't use sync, it should be obvious that Opera One gives an option to import everything from any Opera browser installed on a given OS. I wanted to try Opera One out and maybe switch to it, but how can I compare my browsing experience to regular Opera without transferring at the very least the bookmarks, the history and the list of open tabs? Sorry, but I am a bit too old to go through a bunch of third party extensions that may or may not do this transfer for me, they want me to switch - please, make it easy for me.

While both Opera GX and Opera One are closed, in both "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software" and "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Opera Software", delete the "Opera Developer" folder. Then, make a copy of the "Opera GX Stable" folder and rename the copy to "Opera Developer". Then, start Opera One.
