@fl0i At the URL
opera://settings/cookies
, make sure you don't have Opera set to delete cookies on exit.Another thing you can try. Goto the URL
opera://about
, take note of the "profile" path, close Opera, and delete the "Cookies" file in the "Network" folder in the profile folder. If you have password problems too, delete the "Login Auto" file in the profile folder too if it's present. Then, delete the Opera Safe Storage in the Mac keychain settings again. Then, start Opera and try things.If that doesn't help, you might have to also delete the "Local State" file in profile folder. Back up your profile folder first though.
If that doesn't do the trick, you might have to reset Opera's settings at the URL
opera://settings/reset
(if the option is available on Mac).If that doesn't do the trick, you might have to goto the URL
opera://update
, click "restore" and choose "restore data and settings" (if the option is available on Mac).(Do the keychain fix after all of those too).
If that doesn't do the trick, you might have to start with a new profile folder.
Or, you might have to try more than 15 times till it works.

@burnout426 So I tried the opera://about technique but there was no network folder ??? Then I tried resetting opera but nothing again. Then I tried restoring and yet again nothing. After restoring I did the keychain thing about 30 times and it still comes up every single time. Then I tried doing the start with a new profile folder technique and that was for windows. All this file paths, cache and settings stuff really gives me a headache. ESPECIALLY on macos (im a windows user that's forced to use mac for school). Is this problem that hard to fix?

Are you able to find the "Cookies" file anywhere in the profile folder?

That part should work on macOS too. What does it say for the profile path at
opera://about
? Does it say "/Users/YOUR-USERNAME/Library/Application Support/com.operasoftware.OperaGX"? -

@fl0i You can fully exit Opera and delete the cookies file.
If that doesn't do the trick, you can rename com.operasoftware.OperaGX to com.operasoftware.OperaGXOld. Then, start Opera and test things out.
