Speed Dial | Bookmarks | Discover

Opera - 25.0.1614.50
The buttons on the top of speed dial, please make them static across each page.
Another example to me that 'Bookmarks' still feels unfinished is that when you click the button from the start page, unlike 'Discover', it takes you to a different page completely, where those buttons disappear.
Opera:bookmarks feels more like a manager than a browser.

I downloaded the Opera beta just to try fix this major design flaw, based on the comment above. I found a setting in opera:flags relating to a navigation bar and webui, but all it did was remove the Speed Dial | Bookmarks | Discover buttons entirely.
Am I doing something wrong? I really want to start using Opera as my primary browser on desktop, but this bookmarks nonsense will otherwise prevent that.

Any chance for active speed dial tiles with social networks notifications, like there are on favepad.com? I'd love to see them integrated in Opera. We need more than just buttons with screenshots on our start page.

@regina2012 If you use the new Start page in Opera (activate by clicking at bottom-right "Go back to new STart page") the favicons or Apple icons of a webpage are displayed if they are declared in webpage's HTML code. See article at http://iconhandbook.co.uk/reference/examples/favicons/ as a description, and try to add this page to SpeedDial or bookmark bar, a icon will be displayed!

Thanks, but favicons aren't enough. What is speed dials could show whether you have new messages on Facebook, for instance? The small start page I mentioned proves that it's quite possible. I mean, static speed dials feel kinda obsolete in 2014.
