"Open/Save File" dialog search vs change file name

hi... when im download file from internet and i When i start typing, instead of changing the filename, it searches among that folder files' names. . and this happen not only for picture but also document when iwant to change filename

im running latest opera ( 96.0.4693.20) , with linux mint 21.1 and rtx 3080

This is a glitch in Linux (are you using Ubuntu?). Click on the file name before typing.

@best-codes linux mint 21.1 based on ubuntu 20.4 . Click on the file name before typing it can only type 1 letter, then back to search folder / name

@aldi34 Have you tried Opera on a different device to see if the problem is with Opera (or try a different browser on the same device)? I suggest that you either contact the Linux mint developer and notify them of the issue, use Ubuntu instead (it works great for me), or try an older version of Linux mint.

@best-codes hii.. i tried firefox and it works fine, only opera does weird stuff. maybe next time i tried different linux. thanks for the information

@leocg @leocg apologize, i'm already remove mint and go with manjaro kde. in manjaro kde it works fine. maybe its between gnome vs kde ? i dont know...
