As long as it keeps advertisement away from screen real estate, and it works i give a 5 star to keep the blocking Active.

there is only a black screen for that seconds the video normaly needs...it blocks yes..but all !
the video goes not forward, only black screen for this time...bull-shit a big cake this app...but it shows best how we will be fuckedt from the system(from handy over war to desinformations.....and and and what not should be the question^^ -

its not working, youtube is going out of their way to bombard us with ads taking up time and joy from us. it used to be skippable instantly then they changed to 4 seconds then skip. now its at least 2 30 sec ads that are unskappable. and every time i have an adblocker they detect it withing hours. we need something that is undetectable for yt. I dont think they care if the creators gets payed or not. like i stated before you could skip ads instantly the back then people still needed to get payed. I think it has more to do with premium and that they want to push premium onto people.

yes, it is a black screen for 5 seconds but it also prevents ads for the rest of the vid, turn it off and see for yourself!, i recommend turning it off for the initial ads, (to get around the times where the black screen bugs and stays for a long time, or the times where it just makes the ad unskippable and you have to refresh) then turning it back on after you skipped the initial ads. doing this prevents the 10 ads you get during the video, and the "in-video" ads are completely skipped, no black screen needed!

Maker of Ublock O, Is quite ok programmer (LOL), Github is awesome. Google tried to close with helpdesk slaves: YT, YT AddBlocker and UblockO to ....Ublock O iseasy to change, i Got 2sec add, So check the page and you see whats diff. put it on a list. Original brain Ublock is back in opensource addon.

Use Pie adbocker,and all ads are gone from YouTube!It can be installed as a Chrome extension.Works excellent

@Surgeman I you say so. I have Ublock and YT adblocker since 2009 --> no ads. Special Ublock: Gorhill, is awesome. Github awesome project open source site. 1st time i enter: Somebody: you come to set up project? if fun or practical, ppl will come to you, else you go look at project and help them?

@Surgeman I will put it as backup. Good for you, you found effective addon. I have had no probs whatsoever, till that changes i keep using my 100% adds, trackers and few 100k other bs sent by Meta, Google, etc. Blocks, with white/blacklist

I cannot physically describe how much I am grateful to you for making this adblock. I can't even comprehend how someone can use YouTube without an add-on like this anymore. It has literally saved me hours of brain-rot ads. Thank you.
