Opera is not working with Samsung Easy Set Box

I assume https://displaysolutions.samsung.com/solutions/monitor-solution/easy-setting-box is what you're talking about?
What's not working exactly? The Samsung program can't control Opera's windows like it can with other programs?

@burnout426 Yes that is the software. This window manager app let you specify fields on your monitor/monitors that windows snap to them. When you drag the window, on the top of the screen appears a pop up with the fields that you made. By dragging the window in each of those fields the window snaps in the area. See the clip below

So with every application it is working fine (including Firefox, Chrome, Edge etc.). But by dragging Opera windows, the top pop up does not appear at all.
There is a similar thread back in 2020. So it hasn't been fixed since then

Link to thread?
Also, just to test if it isn't already fixed (unlikely, but check), test in standalone installations of Opera Beta and Opera Developer.

I found the download for the software at https://displaysolutions.samsung.com/support/resources/product-support/easy+setting+box under "Software". I downloaded it, unzipped it, ran the 64-bit MSI installer and installed it. But, after installing it and running the App, I can't get to its settings because it complains that a Samsung monitor is required. That notice pops up every time a I drag a window too. So, I can't personally test, but I tried.

If you want, you can try test standalone installations (read the part about how to install without Opera updating on you and how to prevent updates) of older versions of Opera to see if it ever worked (user in one of those threads said it used to) and see what build it first broke in. You can narrow it down a bit to the last build (by date) for each major version. Still time consuming, but something that could help for a bug report.

@burnout426 It will be very time consuming... But I'll try it. I hope that I do not have to go way back in 2020 versions...

@burnout426 Tried many installations. 80.0.4170.72, 79.0.4143.22 till 48.0.2685.32 did not work. Of course, I didn't try every version. Installed 34.0.2036.25 and it works. It updated to 42.0.2393.137 works also...
