I just saw a good deal on my Android version of Opera and bought the 1 year sub. It worked fine even though I didn't run any speed test. Clicking on "Customer Support" redirected me to a Login page which refused to log me in. What a dark day when the first thing you actually tested fails.
I decided to activate the VPN Pro (device wide - 7 devices) on my Opera 98.0 for MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6. Sadly it wasn't as straightforward as inserting login credentials in the Android version. It appears that Opera for Mac doesn't ship with the VPN module. It needs an external App which may or may not be available in the store. Let us find out.
The Opera for Mac asked me to "Install VPN Pro App." The link directed me to the App store where the error message "App doesn't exist in UK location." Whatever. So I searched for it and installed "VPN Pro Unlimited Proxy" which seemed like closest match. But that didn't work.
My Opera for Mac won't do VPN now. Instead of contacting Opera or VPN Pro support which won't let me login on support page, I cancelled my subscription barely 1h30 into 7 day free trial period. Well done you.

My vpn pro prompted a server error and was not working, tried reinstalling, still not working, didn't find customer service, decided to cancel my subscription and uninstall, very unhappy.

@lina20230222 It is shambolic the way they organised this VPN offering. They advertise it everywhere as being built inside the browser and you WONT need additional software installed. However in yours and my case, Opera asked to install an updated version of "VPN Pro App" because the browser couldn't do it by itself. On the iPad, Opera browser doesn't have a VPN feature. It is just a skin on top of Apple's Webkit API.
I managed to dig the system requirement for Opera VPN Pro to work. Here it is and has a big clue on what MacOS version is needed : "Opera VPN Pro is available for Windows 8 and above Laptop/Desktops or for Mac devices running MacOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later. To use it, you need to download current Opera Browser or Opera GX for Desktop. Opera VPN Pro is currently not available for Windows 7 devices. Please note that VPN Pro is not yet available in Opera Crypto."
However when I move away from my MacOS High Sierra to a Windows 11, I sure will buy their VPN Pro because I see it as a way to support Opera. Shameful they won't support older Operating Systems and won't give a reason why.
