      Very strange problem:
I have some speed-dial links on my Opera Android App (latest version) that i deleted. But after closing and opening the app, the are back there.
This only happens for 3 speed-dial shortcuts (i have a lot more others) and they are all 3 links to different "fandom.com" sites.

I tried everything like: clear cache, delete tabs, delete synched tabs etc.
      They are always coming back.

Does anybody know or have the same behavior with specific links?
Maybe anything else i can try?

I have noticed the exact same problem lately, although with links to other websites so it does not seem to be website specific.

Right! Happens with other websites too.
I think it happend just randomly, that 3 websites of the same domain were affected first.

I have submitted a bug report, let's see if anything comes out of it.

              Great, thanks!
Meanwhile i found out that the problem doesn't seem to occur, if sync (bookmarks and speed dial) is turned off. This worked for about 2 days now. As soon as i turned it on again, they came back.

Same problem on Opera for Android.

I have a Speed Dial link that I want to delete. It stays deleted for about 10-15 minutes or so and then it reappears.

Bookmarks and Speed Dial sync is enabled. Apparently it is the sync functionality that makes that link to reappear. Obviously, there's a bug in Opera: when a link is deleted from a device, it is not deleted from from that device's remote synched storage. At the next sync session it gets restored from that remote storage.

So, what's the workaround? How do I delete a Speed Dial now? I don't want to turn off synching. I need it to work properly with synching enabled.

Upfate: Just visited sync.opera.com for my account and checked what is stored there. That link does not exist neither in this device's data not in any other devices' data. Why does it keep reappearing then?

Actually i think, i tried everything already. The only way i can permanently delete those speed dials is turning off sync. (you can only un-check "bookmarks and speed dials" in sync, that's enough)

Guess it's really a bug, since the problem only appears the last 1-2 months.

I wrote a bug report via the app too. Hope it will get some attention soon.

This issue contantly disappears and reappears.

For a while, the Speed Dial link in question would stay deleted. However, recently I decided to delete another Speed Dial link, and now they started to reappear together: the link "successfully" deleted a long time ago and the freshly deleted link reappear. I have to delete, delete and delete them again and again to finaly force them to stay deleted.

The issue is exactly the same with desktop version of Opera. I currently see some bizarre folder in my desktop Speed Dial. I never created this folder. And can't delete it since it keeps reappearing.

Renaming bookmarks in the bookmark list also takes two or three attempts to make it stick. Initial renamings do not work: in a few seconds/minutes the new name gets reverted to the old one. Deleting bookmarks has the same issue: deleted bookmarks reapper until I delete them several times in a row.

What is going on? Basically, sync functionality is completely broken at this time. How long is it going to take to fix it? How many resurces are currently allocated to fixing sync problems? I don't seem to see any progress.
