Opera not working with Authenticator Apps

I recently got a new phone and reinstalled all my apps but when it came to the Opera browser I couldn't get pass the authenticator because Opera won't recognize the number that the authenticator was giving me didn't matter what authenticator I used and it did not even recognizing my backup codes that I created which I had used the first one to confirm they were working before I reset my old device , now I'm stuck and can't get access to my account that I have used for the past 12 years all those passwords and saved sites down the drain. (Sucks)

@eiwyaa12 You need to get the code from the same authenticator that was used to set up two factors authentication. Was that the case?

Yes that was the case and it was the Google authenticator but I don't get why my backup codes from Opera didn't work even when I had already used one of them to make sure they were active. I had previously used these codes many times before because authenticator most times give a problem.

@eiwyaa12 Never had a problem with authenticator here.

Did you backup Google Authenticator before reinstalling it?
