Unable to open local PDFs in the currently opened Opera GX window.

Whenever I open a local .pdf, a new Opera GX window is created to open the pdf. I see no option for my user-specific Opera GX to use as a pdf viewer, only the general one. Is there anyway to get the file to open in my current, user window?
