a fixed tab is not closed using a hotkey

I can't close a fixed tab using the Ctrl+W hotkey. I can close the tab by right-clicking and selecting the close tab option, but I don't want to

@uhtoer I guess it's by design, to avoid accidental closing of pinned tabs.

I used to use ctrl+Q and even the ctrl+F4, but both commands stopped working. The same happens when you center click with your mouse (regular tabs close, but fixed tabs don't). The "mute" controle in fixed tabs are a problema as well. They occupy the whole tab and sometimes you just want to click in a fixed tab to see something and then the music is muted on that tab.
