Limiting the storage space for profile directory

I use both Opera stable as Opera Developer at work. Because my roaming profile was getting larger and larger it took almost 15 minutes to log in. When I investigated the cause I found out that more than 7 Gb of Opera related files were sitting in these locations:
C:\Users\####\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable[/Developer]\Service Worker C:\Users\####\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable[/Developer]\Code Cache C:\Users\####\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable[/Developer]\Local Storage
Before I deleted the files in those locations my Opera Developer also had trouble starting up. Sometimes I had to start it multiple times (and having to kill the hung processes in Task Manager) before it finally started up. This also seems related to the huge number of files in my AppData folder.
My question is: is there a way to automatically limit the storage space used by Opera to prevent these problems? Or to cleanup these files periodically instead of having to do this manually?
