Opera Browser: crash when showing Downloads after 2 days of usage

Opera Browser crashes evey time i close the download history tab after 2 days of use
First the CPU goes high at 60%, then the HD runs weird full.
Also Avast processes and the Windows process "System" run high every time with that.
After 2 minutes Opera gets stuck and shortly after this goes down most of the time or i have to kill it after 5 minutes of nothing.
Perhaps Antivirus and Opera downloads interfere badly?? -

If you goto the URL
opera://settings/userInterface, disable "Show popup with clipboard and recent downloads when uploading files", and restart Opera, do you still get the crash? -

ok, i deactivated it and wait for it...Opera option in German.
