I was downloading a 10 GB big file when my net (still connected between devices, but not to the net) started glitching. my 10 GB (of which 4 gigs were downloaded) disappeared from my downloads, meaning i cant press the resume button and continue as normal, but the half downloaded file is still on my PC as a .opdownload file...
keep in mind that my other 5GB big download didnt disappear, i just pressed resume and it resumed.
this is kind of urgent.. Any way to transfer the progress into Opera GX (the browser) and continue it? -

First off, I was informed that this topic was "quite old" when it is only a few months old. This is quite old by Opera's standards? Ha ha not funny.
Anyway, I get this exact same thing when downloading large files via Opera (lol 3 months later - thus not old). But mine happens without internet interruptions. (FYI I use a hard wired LAN exclusively) For instance: I queue up several large files for download, one disappears from the download list entirely, the others continue downloading just fine. Then, low and behold, there is indeed an "opdownload" file in my download directory representing the disappeared file.
I have now noticed this at least 3 times in the last few days. As for anti-virus, I only use the default Windows Defender (Windows 10). This is a bug with Opera - as it does not happen with Chrome, Edge or Firefox.

@abc787-800 Bumping, this happened to me as well, on 3 downloads.
All disappeared from the list, still saved half way, and shutting down the browser even warns "you have 3 downloads ongoing" - after clicking continue it shutdown opera anyways.
Now I have no way to continue the large downloads and gotta start from scratch it seems..
I wish we could just tell opera to resume using the existing opdownload file..
