How do I request for an Opera account deletion if I am locked out?

Hi. I read the forums and the posts say that it's currently impossible to retrieve your Opera account if you do not have the backup codes nor the access to the Authenticator app it is linked to. I recently reformatted my phone and lost access to my Authenticator app, and I no longer know where I placed the backup codes for my Opera account.
Since retrieving the account is at a dead end, can anyone provide info on how I can request for that old account to be removed for good? I already have created a new one and so all I need now is to have my old account deleted. Thanks!

@jerasquin I can't see how this can be done. Since you cannot prove that you are the person in the old account (i.e. having no codes, as you put it and having lost the authenticator app), there doesn't appear to be a way to legitimately delete the account. I say this because I'm essentially in the same situation having a former account that is impossible for me to access for similar reasons to your own. So, I simply created a new account and left the former behind. I don't see it as a problem.

@leocg Ok,but there are multiple options to prove if somebody is the real owner. Alot bigger companies than opera do it,i dont see why opera doesnt.
