      How enable TLS 1 in Opera GX LVL3 (core: 84.0.4316.36)?

      I am trying to enter a page that expired its certificate and it sends me the error:

      ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

      I have read through several pages and they recommend me to enable TLS 1 but I can't find the option.

        @mardorosal TLS 1.0 was deprecated a while ago, (I guess) no browser still uses it.

          @leocg Hello,
          I have a telecommunications device that uses it, it does not require internet

            @mardorosal See if the device can be updated to use TLS 1.2 or 1.3 the older TLS versions are being dropped support wise in all modern browsers.

            The other option might be a VM with a outdated browser (which does pose a security risk)

            Why Open the Web?

            Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
            When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
            However, many devices are excluded access to Web content.

              Dunno if you solved the issue but...

              • Download Firefox (seriously Opera needs this feature)
              • In the url box type "about:config" without quotes
              • Accept the risk warning
              • In the search box type "security.tls.version.enable-deprecated" without quotes
              • Switch the value to "True"
