Full screen video not working

Whenever I watch a video in full screen I can't see the video and it just shows a black screen. I have tried on different sites to make sure it wasn't the websites fault, but the problem can be replicated on multiple sites (Youtube, Netflix, etc.)
Has anyone had this issue and is there some way to fix this? Or is this a bug?
