Hi! I'm about to upgrade my system to Windows 11, but I don't want to lose my data. Opera is installed on C disk, so I'd like to move it to another disk so my stuff won't be lost. I worry that it could lose my tabs that open automatically when I start Opera and my saved tabs on my tabs saver extension, would it be possible to keep those if I just move it to another disk? And how can I do that?

@valki If you are just upgrading the OS, you will not lose data. At least you shouldn't.

@valki Besides the installation directory, you would need to move also the profile one and you would need to always start Opera using the --user-data-dir command line to point to the new location of the profile directory.

@valki If the disk is reformatted, of course you will lose (all) your data. If that will be the case, use Sync and backup the profile directory.
