How to Restore Synced Bookmarks?

I bought a new notebook and gave my old one to a friend. I thought I had deleted all the old programs, I failed to delete Opera. My friend launched Opera and manually deleted all the bookmarks. I log in with my new notebook and all my bookmarks are gone from my Opera Browser. She deleted them from my account. I have months and months of research in those saved synched bookmarks. Is there anyway to restore my bookmarks say on Dec 20, 2020. This would help me immensely. Thanks BrentA

@leocg Thanks. I usually back up everything 2-3 times. I didnt see any method by which I could back up bookmarks from Opera except possibly exporting them. In the same vein, I used MS Notes as a test for inputting and tracking info. They lost the info and now its not available. I didnt lose much but it shows the danger of relying on "cloud" stored data. Back it up local or dont use it. Live and Learn. Its too bad, there was alot of deep info embedded in those bookmarks. Thanks.

@brenta See https://help.opera.com/en/latest/crashes-and-issues/#backup
Bookmarks are stored in the Bookmarks file in Opera's profile directory.And yes, you can export bookmarks in Opera for desktops.
