When the new browser window is opened, the old one starts horribly lagging for a few sec, especially the video player. Is there any work around? All the limiters are turned off.

OS: Windows
The latest version
GIF for the issue I'm experiencing
https://gyazo.com/9a3aa083ce916e6efbe038d87d9c7139 (My Opera GX froze as Gyazo stopped the recording, lol)Before I start, I would like to state that I have tried all the solutions to fix this issue. However, none of them were effective. And also, I've recently made the same report regarding this issue, but apparently, the issue is with the search bar. No, the search bar isn't the issue that I am lagging tremendously, I've tried to change my search engine several times which wasn't effective.
My Opera GX has been lagging since the 23rd of January. The symptoms are, whenever I open Opera GX it begins to lag tremendously, especially when I am on the starting page. But, if I manage to quickly switch to another tab (Like settings or any pages that isn't the starting page), I wouldn't lag until at some point it slowly starts to freeze as I hover over my bookmarks to see if my browser is lagging or not. Also, if I try to search for something, it begins to lag and at some point, it'd completely freeze. For instance, I typed in random gibberish words on the search bar, the browser freezes. I can try to use Opera GX only if I don't stay on the starting page for too long, but it will still eventually freeze nevertheless. I tried to downgrade my Opera Browser to the previous version because a helper in the Opera GX discord community suggested me to try that solution, so I did. Furthermore, I was supposed to remove the "auto-update" files, but I accidentally double-clicked the auto-update file. But, it somehow fixed the issue, and I've been using it well until I rebooted my PC for several reasons. Now it went on full-white screen, and it began to lag tremendously again.
Ok anyway, not to mention, but I've also experienced an issue of Opera GX not loading, and instead, it only shows a completely blank screen. But this isn't important as I know how to fix it, but I think this could be a factor.
I have been using Opera GX for nearly a year now, and I don't wish to switch to another browser as it is highly customizable, and I love the features. I've been stressed for almost a week because of this issue. Can you please help me?
List of solutions I tried: Disabling and removing all my extensions and Opera built-in Ad blocker and Ad-tracker, Uninstalling and reinstalling Opera GX with and without my user data, reverting my browser back to the previous version, completely removing Opera GX data in my pc, etc.

hello, for a while Opera Gx freeze every 30 secs while my computer has no problem otherwise. These freezes happen every 30sec and I have to wait 5sec before I can do anything. Thank you for seeing help.

When I have a youtube video open sometimes it freezes but the audio keeps playing and the only way to unfreeze it is to switch to a different workplace and wait a few seconds for it to register I changed workplaces. Then switch back to the workplace with youtube one it.
I had a look at task manager, and even though I only have 2 pinned tabs and a normal tab, there are 24 processes. This is unusual as browsers usually just have one process for each tab plus 1 or two background processes, from my experience with other browsers.

Sometimes it's 20 seconds, sometimes it's two minutes, but rest assured, every single time I've opened GX in the past week, it simply stops accepting commands.
Could be doing nothing, could be opening a bookmark, could be scrolling down the BBC news site - it just simply stops. And I've got max three tabs open.
It might come back with unacceptable lagging, it might not.
While it's not accepting commands it's using a fluctuating 30& - 40% CPU and a little under 2Gb of memory.
Does anyone know what might be causing it?
Much obliged

When I open Opera it just freezes everything, menu or top bar is not responding. Even reinstalling is not helping. Only Task Manager helps.

Opera has been freezing my PC and the Opera web browser has been freezing as well. Last week I updated my OS to Windows 11 Pro. Upon further checking the web browser is using up all of my memory causing a system failure 64gb. So, Tonight I am uninstalling GX and reverting back to the non GX version. If it keeps giving me problems I will simply uninstall the program. Firefox and Google have no problems with Windows 11.

Re: General Opera GX Is Lagging/Freezing Topic
This behaviour can be replicated by opening Reddit and interacting with components such as the notifications/messages. The tab becomes unresponsive and so is the entire window, making it impossible to close or interact with Opera GX without killing the task in Task Manager. After relaunching, the tab has to be immediately closed or else the freeze will persist.
It has happened to me multiple times with a bunch of sites, but Reddit is the only example I can think of right now.
