Printing and email in Gmail doesn't work-trying to use wrong port

Other browsers, Firefox, MS Edge when logged into my Gmail account will print messages so its not a fault with my Canon printer.
On investigating the Canon print error, it seems that Opera is trying to use the wrong port. Canon has a few port options in the Printer properties->ports dialog and Opera is not triggering or invoking the correct working port.
