How to sync between Windows 10 PC and an iPad Air 2

I've been using Opera on my Windows PC for several weeks now and am very happy with it. However, I just downloaded Opera to my iPad Air 2 and cannot find a way to either sign in or synchronise the iPad? I've looked through Opera Help and forums, but everything seems to talk about Opera Mini or Opera Touch, which are no longer available in the App Store. The instructions in Opera on my iPad says to connect to my PC, I need to select My Flow, which I've done, then tap Connect to a Computer, which I've done. It then tells me to click on My Flow on my computer, and a QR code will come up. However, that doesn't happen. All that happens on my PC is that a window opens with a Google search box in it.
So where do I go from here to sync? I've already set up Sync on my PC and it doesn't seem interested in doing anything else. Since I can't even find a way to sign in on the iPad. I'm totally stuck.
Thanks for any help.

@leocg I actually found I could use My Flow after all. I hadn't noticed the"Error" message at the top of the window it opened. When I cleared that, the QR code came up & I could sync my tabs through that. Only problem is they don't retain the Workspaces structure, so all just limited in together I can live with that
